What is deep discharge?

Deep discharge occurs when a battery is discharged below its minimum allowable voltage, also known as the cut-off voltage.

This can cause internal damage to the battery cells, resulting in reduced performance, permanent capacity loss, or complete battery failure. In some cases, the battery may no longer be safe or usable after deep discharge.
