Clean energy in our own operations

Our roofs are equipped with solar panels and we use energy storage systems in our own operations. This is to maintain our energy neutrality.

Corporate social and sustainable business

We believe that corporate responsibility is important. That is why we are taking concrete steps within our organization for CO₂ compensation and by participating in sustainable organizations, such as Trees For All and FleetCor. In addition, we have been friends of The Red Cross since April 2020.

Certified quality

Our efforts are confirmed by our ISO 14001 certification that we have been conducting since 2016. In doing so, we show that the environment and continuity are structurally anchored in our policy.

Elfa Elementenfabriek partners with Trees for All, a Dutch organization dedicated to planting trees and restoring forests worldwide. This helps reduce our environmental footprint while supporting biodiversity and local communities.

Elfa supports the StrandRover project—an innovative, autonomous robot designed to detect and remove beach debris. In collaboration with students from Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, Elfa provides not only a powerful lithium-ion battery, but also the technical expertise needed to contribute to a more sustainable future.
