We can deliver many of these brands from stock. Elfa has 3500 items in its range. As a battery supplier, Elfa can supply almost all A-brands on request.

We offer the following batteries as standard:

Lead-acid batteries

Lead-acid batteries are a widely used battery variant and are known for a high energy density and long lifespan. They are therefore ideal for industrial applications. They are used in vehicles that require a lot of energy, such as ships and planes. They are also used in electrical systems, such as alarms. Elfa supplies these batteries for markets such as telecommunications, data centers, defense and power plants.

Elfa has the lead battery in two variants: VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) and SLA (Sealed Lead Acid). There are two variants within this type of lead-acid battery that both use a different technique. These techniques are AGM and Gel.

AGM batteries are characterized by:

• Low internal resistance;
• The ability to provide high voltage;
• Good resistance to extreme temperatures;
• Minimal self-discharge;
• long life with many cycles.

GEL batteries, on the other hand, offer the following:

• Excellent capacity;
• Especially suitable for deep discharge.

Sodium-ion saltwater batteries

The sodium-ion saltwater battery is a safe and durable battery. It is ideal for solar storage and other applications. These maintenance-free batteries use a special salt water electrolyte. They are designed for daily deep discharge from 4 to 20 hours.

Thanks to their self-balancing properties, no battery management system is required. Applications include self-consumption, backup power, peak shaving, demand response and reducing diesel generator usage. This applies to many markets, such as microgrids, telecom, green architecture and lighting.

Elfa's saltwater batteries include the following features:

• Maintenance-free and fully sealed;
• Wide temperature range (from -5 °C to 50 °C) without heating, ventilation and HVAC air conditioning;
• Withstands partial charge cycles without affecting battery life;
• Deep discharge — capable of 100% depth of discharge without affecting battery life.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are an excellent choice for applications that require high-quality and long-lasting energy. For example, they are safer than LiCoO2 batteries. They can also use up to 100% of their capacity.

These batteries are used in applications where reliability and longevity are critical. Think of electric vehicles, industrial equipment, data storage and telecommunications.

LiFePO4 batteries include the following features:

• No maintenance;
• 100% deep discharge (in contrast to lead batteries);
• Incombustible;
• High energy density;
• Light weight;
• Can achieve 5 times as many cycles as lead batteries.
