Elfa Elementenfabriek specialises in the B2B sales and assembly of batteries, battery packs and dedicated electronics. In addition, Elfa supplies a wide range of pocket and head lamps and high quality temporary lighting. We focus in particular on electrotechnical companies, security companies, industrial companies, (semi) governmental companies and energy companies, but also on emergency services, the military, the maritime market and the construction industry. But also retailers, hospitals and care institutions.

To realise this ambition, Elfa is looking for an Account Manager for the projects business unit.
What’s your assignment? Further strengthen and expand the customer portfolio.


What have you achieved after 1 year? ou know the organization and products from a-z. You have made acquaintance with existing customers, both active and inactive, by visiting them or by making contact. You are also actively involved in following up project requests and visiting new relations.

How are you going to do that?

You will start your first period with an extensive familiarisation programme. You will start at the office in Lijnden (Amsterdam), where you will spend a few days shadowing production. You will then attend a number of product training courses with suppliers and set off with a fellow Account Manager. Everything you need for a flying start!

After that you will start working independently. Your customer portfolio is broad and diverse. Once at the table, you think with your customer and in an advisory manner, you know how to convince them of the added value of Elfa. Together you develop the best fitting solution in ‘custom made’ battery and accumulator packs, for a specific application in any situation. Think of Defence, OEM, industry and the institutional market. You are a real partner for them!


You don’t have to start from scratch. There is already an existing customer portfolio. You will further strengthen and expand these partnerships. In addition, you are constantly looking for new relationships. With your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm, you will have your agenda filled in no time!
In this role you also have an important relationship with suppliers like Panasonic, Saft and Tadiran. You’ll negotiate prices with them, but they’re also your product specialists that you can call on in a project.

  • Demonstrable commercial-technical experience, preferably with electrotechnical products
  • You have a long term focus and keep an overview in long sales projects
  • Experience with project-based work
  • Connecting and empathic; able to connect with everyone
  • Independent, tenacious, goal-oriented and flexible
