A well-known name in the world of professional batteries, Renata originally started as a manufacturer of components for mechanical watches. Today, however, the Swiss company focuses on producing high-quality batteries for a wide range of applications.
Renata, part of the Swatch Group, is a Swiss company headquartered in Itingen, a town near Basel. In the 1970s, the company experienced a shift in focus. From that point on, Renata began producing coin cell batteries instead of components for mechanical watches.
Today, Renata’s modern production facility in Itingen manufactures over one million batteries per day. Thanks to its extensive knowledge of production processes, Renata has become a highly regarded and reliable battery supplier for both the Swatch Group and Elfa.

Renata LiPo batteries
Elfa offers a range of Renata LiPo batteries, such as the Lipo ICP501230PS-03 3.7V 0.130Ah and the Lipo ICP521630PM-01 3.7V 250mAh. These Renata batteries are frequently used in the development phases of a wide variety of professional applications. Elfa has the capability to slightly adjust the dimensions of LiPo batteries (length x width x height), allowing them to fit more seamlessly with the systems in which they are used.
