Elfa Re-certified for ISO 9001 and ISO 1400

We are proud to announce that Elfa Elementenfabriek has once again passed its external ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits with flying colors this year. Both certifications have therefore been extended until October 2028.
ISO 9001 – Quality as a Foundation
Since 2004, Elfa has maintained a certified quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. To ensure this quality standard, our processes are externally audited annually.
Elfa strives for continuity in its customer relationships, which can only be achieved by consistently delivering the highest quality. This applies to every aspect of our organization: from internal processes to product range and service.
We therefore view achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 certification as a commitment to both our customers and ourselves: for today, tomorrow, and the future.
ISO 14001 – Responsible Business and Sustainability
Furthermore, we are proud to have maintained our ISO 14001 certification, which we have held since 2016.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems, developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The system helps organizations develop an appropriate environmental policy and ensure its implementation.
With this certification, we underscore our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. This is reflected, among other things, in our collaboration with Trees for All, our energy storage systems and solar panels.
Scope of Certifications
The evaluation of both the quality management system (ISO 9001) and the environmental management system (ISO 14001) took place according to TÜV Nederland's certification regulations, for the following scope:
Purchase, sale, and distribution of batteries, battery systems, battery packs, energy storage systems, lighting, chargers, inverters, and consulting on these systems.
