Elfa compensates 78.75 tons of CO₂ emissions with Trees for All.

At Elfa, we take sustainability and responsibility seriously. That's why we also compensate for our unavoidable CO₂ emissions. In 2025, we compensated a total of 78.75 tons of CO₂ emissions by collaborating with Trees for All.

What exactly does Trees for All do?

Trees for All has been working for over 25 years towards a world rich in forests. The organization plants trees and restores forests. Not only to absorb CO₂, but also to promote biodiversity and improve the living conditions of local communities.

Elfa's contribution goes towards impactful projects worldwide. In the Netherlands, including in Amsterdam and South Limburg, but Trees for All also supports, for example, with local partners Bolivians in switching to sustainable agroforestry. This involves planting native trees in combination with agricultural crops, such as coffee and cocoa. This not only contributes to CO₂ storage but also improves soil quality, stimulates biodiversity, and provides farmers with additional income.

Through these projects, we not only contribute to combating climate change but also to nature restoration, strengthening communities, and protecting biodiversity.

Sustainability as a Fundamental Choice

At Elfa, we see sustainability not as a one-off action, but as an ongoing commitment. The compensation of 78.75 tons of CO₂ in 2025 is an important step, but we continue to work on ways to further reduce our impact and contribute to a sustainable future where economic activity and ecological responsibility go hand in hand.

For example, since 2020, we have also been friends of the Red Cross. In addition, we participate in the Clean Advantage-program, through which we compensate for the annual fuel consumption of our colleagues.

Together with partners like Trees for All, we are building a world that is not only safer and technologically advanced but also green, livable, and resilient.
